Why do people believe abortion is okay?

There are so many reasons why people believe abortion is okay. One main reason is because our culture believes the lie that the woman’s choice outweighs the child in the womb’s choice. People constantly say that it is a gray issue, but the truth of the matter is that is life begins at conception (which it does), then there should be no reason why abortion should be allowed. Whether that is rape, a career, convenience, shame, or any other reason, if the child is a person from conception, abortion cannot be justified. All you have to do is imagine that the child is two years old, can you kill them because they’re a product of rape, your career can no longer happen, you’re ashamed, or the other reasons? Of course not.

When did abortion become legal?

On the federal level, it became legal in 1973 through the court cases of Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton. These two cases made abortion legal in all states for any reason whether that be familial, physical, age, psychological, or emotional.

Does God call us to fight abortion?

Absolutely. God calls us to defend the weak and the needy. There is no one more weak or needy than these children; his heart is grieved for these innocent children. (Psalm 82:4, Psalm 139:13-14 Jeremiah 1)

Can I get involved in the pro-life movement?

Yes. (1) Share the truth of the pro-life message with everyone around you. No matter who they are, tell them about the importance and value of life. (2) Get involved today by going to your local pregnancy center and asking how you can help. They’ll be sure to plug you in! (3) Always vote pro-life. Try to set up an appointment with your elected officials to tell them how important this issue is. Also, you can email them, call them, or write a letter to them
